Thats the whole point. Before PS3 exclusive shooters came out Halo was considered one of the best looking console shooters. Sony has their heads in the wrong direction. Games like KZ2 and Resistence were created to kill off Halo. The only company who can kill Halo is Bungie.

How do you know they were created to kill off Halo?

Please give me a link where someone high up at Sony that says they were.

 

The original KZ amassed an extremely large amount of hype that it was the "Halo Killer" back during the Xbox/PS2 era. KZ2 continued the trend. The media obviously knew why KZ was created funded by Sony to be created. Resistance is just blatantly obvious.

so why is SONY silencing them?

the ONLY genre 360 PWNS PS3 in in EVERY way is WRPG's.....SONY need to sort out that genre for PS3

Guerrilla aren't very pleased with this name calling, insisting that the Killzone franchise is rooted in its own story and universe, and, most importantly, hasn't been created as an answer to any other title currently present on the market.

They've made more racers but I don't see people begging Sony to not make Modnation or GT5.

KZ2 didnt need to be a Halo killer. Modern Warfare already had that crown.

it is when they are NEGLECTING other fields which are lacking

more FPS's won't sell consoles for them now...they have tried 3 times and have partially succeded on 2 out of 3 occasions......

and for us Resistance series isn't quality personified as a FPS.....COD is better than it .....Killzone was GREAT though.....
