I bought a PS3 because it was made by Sony, but the main games I was looking forward to in the next gen were GTA IV and FF XIII, I was looking forward to Jak 4, but Uncharted has certainly kept me happy

As for my Xbox, yes, I bought it for GeoWs, Fable, Mass Effect and Ace Combat. I would like another LO, but the games that caused me to get the console were pretty much already out when I got the console

The 360's also been out longer, and a lot of once-PS2-exclusive franchises are now multiplat.

I didn't get a PS3 for any specific game, I got the PS3 because it's the PS3 =D

For the Xbox 360, I got that console for Halo 3, Fable 2, Gear of War 2 specifically, so yes.

Tomb Raider Underworld is great. If it was a PS3 exclusive you'd be drooling over it making threads IN ALL CAPS.

Nintendo 1st Party Library - out and not out Wii Sports was the tipping point even if I did have Twilight Princess for Wii 2 months before I got the console
