Previous week: 6,926 PS3

I believed in 400-500% more with Slim (~25,000).

The advertising is crap though and one of those confusing lots of things on your screen type advert. The microsoft ads on the other hand are clean and carry the message better, you gotta wish Sony would copy them in that respect. I think they are trying to hard to show everything in a 30 second commercial.

Not sure about the percentage rise but the UK is still heavily into its 360 consoles and for the most part that is bigger news for a lot of people.

I still expect the PS3 and the Slim to be outselling the 360 though so I give it 45% based on the statement for the opening weekend of the Elite at its new price.

And how long do you expect the slim to be at RRP? I think it'll be safe to say that the slim will be £225-£235 come Christmas in most places.

I've seen 2 ps3 ads this week. One on Sky One, and one on FX.

Il go for a 150% rise.

And i have no idea what it sold the week before this.

Don't know about you, Darth, but I've seen a fair few PS3 Slim ad's.

Also, I've never seen a £275 PS3 in the UK before. Where was that? In Game, Gamestation, etc, I've only ever seen £300 PS3 w/ the odd game or movie bundled in.

Got the bus to work today, in Bolton all buses have a stack of Metro free newspapes which most passegers read. Over the front and back was a full sheet with 4 a4 sides of THE NEW PS3 249. Woke me up a little. Hate early starts lol

Doesn't matter. The RRP has been cut by £50.
