MGS4 is amazing, but I still prefer MGS3.

Like you said "it's better then any movie you watched." Thats the reason I didn't really like MGS.

Remind me to get this game if I get a PS3.

When a story is amazing epic, like REALLY epic, the game is skyrocketed up my favorite game list.

When you revisit Shadow Moses, it brings a tear into my eyes.

But MGS4 is epic, just re-beat it yesterday infact... and it was more EPIC than ever.

MGS4 isn't epic. Epic is MGS4.

of course MGS4 isn't epic its Kojima Productions!

Very good game, but I'd never consider it anywhere near the greatest story ever told...

Kojima has no artistic restraint. his scripts are long winded and a lot of it is unnecessary. Not even close to the best story ever told...

He needs a vicious script editor.

Of course its subjective. But I'm not alone in this opinion, lots of people think similarly. And obviously many people don't care. This thread has many people saying they love his games and some people saying he needs to focus more on his scripts a bit more.

I did say its a very good game remember.

If Kojima did what I proposed the minority that feels that way about his narratives would be lavishing the universal praise on his games like many people think he deserves. Until then I will happily be part of the minority that annoys everyone else.
