I agree with most of that :)

Except that I know that HAMMER was cancelled - and I don't really care. And Disaster looks fine - lets wait until we see some movies anyway. If pretty gfx mattered more than gameplay, the Wii would be dead and the PS3 king.

Brawl - we'll see. I hope it still hits Xmas for US (and it may), but we still get it delayed in Oz. Boo. 

1. 3rd party characters doesn't affect the quality of the game. SSB games are all about the fan service and people still love Sonic even though he has had some bad games. Also, Sonic and the Secret Rings wasn't a bad game.

2. About Mario Kart: Double Dash, you may love the whole having two riders, but a lot of people hated it. I'm guessing since they're getting rid of it and the fact that the majority of people like Mario Kart DS more they decided to go with the plan that works for the most people. Remember, you're not the majority.

3. So what made you think Project HAMMER was good? The whole nothing you saw of it other than you get to swing a hammer? If the game was canceled that simply means that it sucked and wasn't worth the time and money to fix. Good riddance.  If you really think that Project HAMMER was going to be good, go play Dragonblade because they are probably pretty similar.

4. The screenshots don't look that terrible for Disaster. Remember, the game is still a LONG way from being complete and there's still a lot of work left to be done. You're just seeing an early version. Besides, it's the Wii; gameplay matters, not graphics.

5. I wouldn't worry about SSBB if I were you. The moved the date back for Japan and more than likely moved the date back for America by a week or two. *IF* it did get pushed back to 2008 (which it didn't), then that would leave room for other games on the Wii to shine and let people buy some games they normally wouldn't because there are just too many games this holiday season. SSBB could get pushed to Spring 08 and it would still sell a crapload.


In short, stop being a whiny emo fanboy.

Someone simply doesn't like Sonic at all, or hasn't really paid attention to the Sonic Brawl trailer.
I wasn't all that sure about the game (fighting isn't exactly my favorite genre), and that trailer almost sold me to it (Sonic looks awesome, just... awesome).

1-Nintendo makes Brawl.
2-Mario Kart on GC wasn't as near as popular as Mario Kart DS, yet DS don't have double team. I'm exited for online and motorcycles!
3-Too bad for project HAMMER, personaly I didn't care much for it.
4-Gameplay>Graphics besides, the game is in developpement, so it means they will polish it.
5-Yeah and? We will have Mario Galaxy to pass our time and other games! Delay just means more polishing. What do you prefer to play a half done game or delayed to be perfect?

I agree bout the Nintendo fan, but not about Sonic in brawl. Thats aw some. Is brawl dalyed in USA? And yeah, Nitnedo is basically cheating on its hardcore fans.. at least it hasn't dumped us though

First Point: It is a GREAT time to be a Nintendo fan. Nintendo is getting more exclusive games (and total games) than the PS3 and 360 combined in Q4 2007. Wii is getting an exclusive online FF Crystal Chronicles, online Dr. Mario, and a DS demo station channel! And Sonic is not ruining Brawl. Judging by his debut video, he fits the feel of the game perfectly. The more diversity in characters, the better. It'll make the game last longer. We already got weirdos like the Ice Climbers duo and now the Pokemon Trainer's 3 character rotation. I'm all for it!

Second Point: Your friends must have sucked at Double Dash, because you can snake in that game too. I lost (err, failed to win) some good money in a Double Dash tournament because everybody in the final round was snaking but me. I too loved the double dash system, but I still have that game and can still play it. I welcome motorcycles! I bet they go a little faster but are easier to knock around. More options are good!

Third Point: I never paid too much attention to that game. Maybe it was awesome. But I'm already drowning in awesome announcements every day now!

Fourth Point: Yeah so the screenshots suck so far. Game sounds like it has a rad original plot. I'd like to czech it out.

Last Point: Go fuck an egg. Brawl is going to be the best game ever. I won't mind if it gets delayed a whole year. I'll play it for at least ten.

Bonus Point: I hate snesboy.

Nintendo themselves aren't even really the developer for Brawl, are they? Sure, they help out, but Sakurai is the head honcho. HAL Labs developed the previous two games...

I believe Hal is owned by Nintendo much like Retro Studios ... After all Nintendo's president is the former president (and I believe owner) of Hal labs
