"Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games is fast approaching, and it may be nearer than you think. Along with the huge media blitz that SEGA has recently unleashed, the company has also announced that the game is gold, and has headed out to manufacturing for release.
The game has also been moved up, so if you've got your pre-order set then you'll want to pay attention; if you don't you may want to kick it into gear right about now. Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games is now slated for a final release date of November 6, which is now only a few weeks away. Update your calendar; the Olympics will be here before you know it.
Also included with the release date change was information on the new Dream Events that'll fill in the gaps of the Mario & Sonic package. Based on real-life Olympic events, Dream Events take the excitement of the sports and add a videogame makeover, complimenting them with recognizable locations, objects, and support characters from classic Nintendo and SEGA titles.
