All to do with Post Count.
And some exceptional cases with Admins etc.

0-500 is a newbie
501-1000 is a regular
1001-2000 is a member
2001-5000(I think) Is a pro
5001-10,000 is a Obsessive
10,000+ is a god

Note if you become a moderater you automatically become a god
