It's not going to do as well as previous FF but still will shatter MGS4..

I'm expecting 1-1.2 million units sold first week and something around 1.8 millions lifetime...

And most likelly the game will move around 200k PS3 in Japan...( in the first 4 weeks).

Western sales might actually make up for the Japan sales shortcomings too...

No in Japan FF XIII isn't in on 360, i hope it sells 2 mil LT in US.

It is almost impossible for a game to sell over 1/3 of its userbase, then factor in the huge used market in Japan and there is no way the game will come anywhere near 2 million.

After seeing a 1 hour demo boosted PS3 Hardware by 60k and sold out the software, I won't be surprised if first week in Japan sales will be 1.5+m

Japan is all about the handhelds so im saying 2 million.

If Square-Enix expected a 2m+ debut in Japan the game would still be exclusive to PS3 worldwide, as it would sell 5 million or something on PS3. Without a big PS3 base in Japan, it will probably do 1.3m week one in Japan and 1.75m-2.0m lifetime. Should do another 2-3m in the west. The 360 version will do 3-4m in the west. Should end up with the usual software split for HD games that are big worldwide - 360 sw sales in the Americas offsetting better PS3 sales in Others and Japan.
