Any ideas why PSN users like Wolfenstein so much? Struck me as really odd.

WHy not ? It is the mother of all FPS.

Because it didn't really sell so well on the shooterbox.

360 owners were too busy buying Battlefield in an attempt to get some arbitrary prize before PS3 owners.

If anyone takes the time to read this, thank you. Here's an old story about FF7. I borrowed this game from a good friend of mine back in early '98 a few months after it came out. I was addicted immediately. I went on to buy the strategy guide and was on a quest to encounter/fight every enemy the game had to offer... and then some. The storyline to this day is the most immersive and emotional I have ever experienced. On top of that were some of the craziest cut scenes I had ever seen. All of the summon animations were amazing, each one getting better as you aquired more. Whether it was Shiva, Bahamut (all of them), Odin (my favorite), and of course Knights of the Round... each one was something to work towards and worth the sore thumbs. I did manage to defeat Ultima Weapon, Emerald Weapon, and Ruby Weapon... each with at least a few tries. I remember completing the game in its entirety in about 70/80 hours, can't remember for sure.

Sorry for all the reminiscing, but here's why I love this game and what I was eventually going to get to: I was about 45 hours in and my MadCatz PS1 memory card failed. What to do??? Start over again and keep going. I was so upset when it happened, and I didn't have any other choice but to start anew one of the greatest games ever made. No memory fail the second time around thank god. I went on to sell that memory card along with my PS2, a handful of games, and a handful of controllers. I wish I would have kept that memory card... (I've yet to purchase it from PS store, but I think its about time.)

who sells a PS2????...thats ridiculous

PS2's are still for sale in most of Canada's major outlets. FutureShop, EBGames, Walmart , Zellers. I don't know when Sony is going to cease manufacturing PS2's but as long as they are still selling why discontinue them. Sony doesn't want to discontinue PS2 because if it does then the Wii has a chance of catching up!
