Next gen unless Nintendo once more goes on the innovation route... in gens 5-6 they've proven that they can't fight with Sony and MS on the same battlefield... to which MS and Sony are relocating...

Nintendo could have won easily had they not made the mistakes they made in the fifth gen.

If Nintendo had made the 64 optical based instead of cartridge based, they could of made full use of the system with more capacity on the discs.

Hopefully, NEVER! Think about it, without Nintendo where would the industry have gone 20 sum-odd years ago? We need Nintendo here, even if they aren't dominating.

I would agree with that. Perhaps it's better if they aren't dominating, because back in the time when Nintendo had their least successful console ever (not counting the Virtual Boy), the GameCube, we also had the console with the greatest gaming library of all time (the PS2).

I'd greatly prefer if Nintendo bancrupted instead of Commodore Amiga. Then we would be using proper joysticks instead of gamepads today.

Not entirely correct... the N64 had other hardware problems and mishaps too...

Nintendo's existence: Not in the near future, probably not in any of our lifetimes.

Nintendo's domination: Next generation or the one after.

Yes I would like to know too, like what?

It was vastly superior to the PS1 in every way except media choice.

A long, long time after Sony & Microsoft have left the gaming market.

Which shouldn't be too long now.
