Forums - Gaming Discussion - How long does it take to beat this game?

Some Times you may want to add/adjust on your table

Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn - 40hr average

Mega Man 9 - you have it at 91 hours. It can be beat in under 45 minutes. I would say it takes an average player 1 hour to beat it after they figure out the weaknesses. My first playthrough it probably took me 4-5 hours to figure out the weaknesses and make my way through.

Prince of Persia (2008) - ~10 hours, ~14hr for completion.

Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box - 10 hours average

Super Paper Mario - maybe I'm slow, but ~30 hours, plus I did the two pits.

Lunar Knights - 10 hours

Advance Wars: Dual Strike - 25 hours (I take a long time on maps)

Advance Wars: Days of Ruin - 25 hours (I take a long time on maps)

Trace Memory - 6 hours

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

^The table is added and adjusted every post.

It's just I played only a hand full of games in that list, if someone tells me they took 91 hours to complete Mega Man 9 I believe them because Ive never played it before.

I plan on adding and adjusting well over 100 more games soon though, once I get the time.

So I've completed Assassin's Creed 2 !
I know I have the game only since yesterday, but it's so awesome that I simply had to skip school (lol)
Took me 12 hours to beat the main story. Overall 60% completion and got 700G on the way. So there's still a lot of things to do !

Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World; 26hours first playthrough.

Were you trying for a speed run or is it really that short? I was expecting a bit longer adventure from an open world game.

MY HYPE LIST: 1) Gran Turismo 5; 2) Civilization V; 3) Starcraft II; 4) The Last Guardian; 5) Metal Gear Solid: Rising

Do you think the early Pokemon games are short ? They took me about 12 hours as well until I saw the credits.

Granted, there is not that much to do in AC2 in comparison to Pokemon games, but you can still expect a few hours more playtime, especially when you're trying to get the platinum trophy/1000G in the game.

Well but I wouldn't call credits as "beat" in 2nd generation of Pokemon.
I mean you basicaly have another 8 badges to achieve.
Of course, thats all if my memory is right and you get the credits after beating Lance already?

The only pokemon game I've ever played was blue on GB. And from what I remember that game was really long. 12 hours is the lenght of Uncharted 2 which was a linear game. I was expecting something like GTA4 playtime from AC2, since it's supposed to be sandbox game.

Yeah I had Red/Blue/Green/Yellow editions in my mind when I wrote that post

Every reviewer and gamer I talked to said AC2 is 18 hours for main story, 25 hours for platinum or 1000 gamer points.
