Surprised that I actually agree with No. 1 after I saw that it wasn't Mario. I figured he was a shoe in, but I forgot that Pacman really has been more influential. You can describe something as being a Pacman symbol and you'll be hard pressed to find someone who doesn't know what you mean.

Well considering his game spawned the massive wave of fps for the last two console generations, introduced regenerating health which pretty much every shooter uses now and single handedly created online gaming for consoles I too would put him in place on Nancy Drew.

However the creator of the video explained his choices well and seeing as how this list is also opinion based I can't fault him.

I would switch 1 with 2.

Mario did save the industry's ass...

But, good list, I like his reasonings.

Solid Snake would have been my #1 but overall a good list except for Nancy Drew, who should definitely NOT be on it.
