So I wondered if Nintendo really is making fewer games this generation with so many people saying they don't like this 'new' Nintendo.

yes its much easier to make games now since the tech they are using is 10 years old. if they did this when the tech was bleeding edge it would be cool but this means nuthin.... they should have the most new games out as far as i am concerned..

At least they are using their old tools to make games at a faster pace which is what M$ and Sony WILL be doing next gen i can bet my house on it....

Go through the list and pick out what you count as 'quality' for each year and get back to me.

Edit: Might I add that most of the sequels they've made so far for Wii are better than the games from the GameCube era.

I mean take a look at Sunshine and Galaxy for instance. That's the best piece of evidence that they're making better games this time around.
