WHY THE FUCK ISN'T CRY ENGINE NUMBER1?

Blasphemy!

I LOVE ICELAND!

LOL no CryEngine.

But war... war never changes

Unreal Engine is so outdated.
CryEngine should be on that list.

Everyone mentioned CryEngine, so I won't. Is this supposed to be the best looking or best game engine? If it's the former, the choices make sense (minus leaving out CryEngine). If it's the latter, why are the game engines only from this generation. The one used on the Rogue Squadron games for Gamecube was ridiculous. The same could be said for the Resident Evil 4 engine and the one that produced Twilight Princess on the Gamecube.

Where the hell is the best engine in history?
Source engine is not there so I can't take it seriously at all. The four topmost engines are nothing compared to it, or the Unreal engine for that matter...

What about Call Of Duty 4 engine - one of the smoothest and great looking
and Gamebryo (Fallout 3 and Oblivion).

KZ2 and Uncharted engines have only been used for one game.

Only one game series yes, only one game no.  There are two Uncharted titles.

I think many of you are thinking that the most used or versitile game engines should be the ones to win, but this is just a list of the ones that produce the prettyest games and also seems to be looking at console games only.  With these in mind the list seems to fit.

...

Cry engine 3 indeed looks really amazing

I can't really say that naughty dog engine 2.0 looks better than cry engine 3 but it's really close or maybe even better. (need to see some crysis 2 gameplay to be sure)

CryEngine 2 is the best engine available, and CryEngine 3 will be the best engine when it gets released, unless it's completely dumbed down because of consoles (which I don't believe right now, though I don't think it's impossible either).

Also, the list should be more specific about Unreal Engine. There's more than just one version of it. As far as I know, there's at least Unreal Engine, Unreal Engine 2, Unreal Engine 2.5, and Unreal Engine 3. And I'm not completely sure how much they're related to each other. Still, I'm sure they're referring to Unreal Engine 3.
