gt4 is a clearly better game than gt3, but gt4 scored lower than gt3, reason being is brought more of the same(going of reviews) 96 vs 89

when forza 1 came out it brought more innovation hence it was scored higher than gt4, so if your claiming scores, gt3 must be better than forza 1?

but gt4 is better than gt3 regardless of scores, with a much much bigger game and more gameplay. its a superior game to forza 1, although forza 1 was a good game.

also. forza 2 scores less than forza 1, again because it brought more of the same(reviews)

so now we have forza 3 trying to bring something new, surely gt5 can bring something new also? like the real manufacture car parts and that proposed online garage, plus psp cars can be downloaded into gt5 game etc etc.

i guess we will have to wait till both hit the shelfs. if no gt5 this year im deffo getting forza 3 and il be surely be getting gt5.

I believe your analogy is wrong. Any game before GT4 was reviewed highly because it was alone. There was no Forza then. GT4 however had to compete with Forza. And Forza came out on top. GT4 was given it's scores becuase Forza was there that year and a better more realistic game.

So yes GT4 is better than GT3, but GT4 had competition, hence it not getting as high scores.

what was better about forza 1 it that it had more innovation like damage, online customisation etc. it didnt have more realistic handling.

also my point was that forza 2 was reviewed less than forza 1 , because it brought more of the same although forza 2 is clearly the better game.

and now we have forza 3 and gt5 coming out. i truly belive gt5 will bring more to the table upon release. in comparison to gt4vgt3

Its not very realistic if it doesnt rain/snow... If anyones played sega rally revo they'd agree than a dynamic track is more interesting than a pretty static one

Turn 10 said that Forza 3 would be the 'definitive racer' and now there will be no weather or night ? Those are features that where in older GT, so I think it's a minus for Forza.

When I watch both trailers (GT5 / Forza 3), both in real time, I'd say GT5 seems to be more impressive too. Plus, I can't even connect my logitech G25 wheel on the 360.

I'm buying both anyway, so we'll see.

I hope Che's post is just a fire starter to get people talking about the game and all 3 of the no-go's will actually be in the game. I will be dissapointed if they chose tire deformation over weather changes, even if it's a neat feature it probably wouldn't be as noticeable to performance as changing tire types for the right kind of weather would be.

I have no idea how Forza 1 outscored GT4. Absolutely baffles me to this day.

I got FM1 with my xbox. Didn't like it, sold it, bought it again later to give it another chance and I still don't understand. I guess if you like multiplayer in your sim racer... :/
