Ok, phew. I was a little surprised people thought that way still. Even more since the Dreamcast is still getting a game this year!

I'm just antagonizing the trolls haha.  Nah if I could have a dreamcast I'd buy it instantly.  Can't say so much on the PSP but still good library.  It's actually hard to find a console in the last 10 years that didn't have at least 20 games I know I could buy, play, and like.

Yeah, I've been toying with the idea of getting one for a while now.

I just wouldn't know where to buy one I guess.  Really don't want to have to get one online.  Wonder if game ware has any.  Not to mention would have to find all the games.

Too bad the DC didn't have a better library now did it. It has good games, but the library of games is way too small. Psp sells almost no software and compared to the ds it is a failure.


Compared to the DS even the GBA is a failure seeing how the PSP has a shot at selling as much as it did, and yes even software wise, seeing that there are now over 200 million PSP games shiped ;) The PSP stands entirely on its own, and it pretty much stole away the entire GB market, except the hardcore Nintendo fans... and thats including me ( beeing a big GBA fan myself ;)).

 

The DC died, true, but it has 15 games rated above 90%, whiuloe the WIi has only 8 ;)

 

The DC has 50 games rated above 80%

 

The WIi has 54... with a 5x bigger instalbase... so no my friend, check some objective facts before posting about DC library size/quality... the WIi only beats it at shovelware ammount

I hope you do know that reviewers are a lot harsher now these days? Hey, I'm the first one to admit ps3/xbox360/PS2 have more quality games then the wii, but the DC? No, I will not take that. I actually believe the psp has created it's own market just like the wii did. The psp created the 3d core market for handhelds imho. I think a lot of people who owned the gba also bought a ds. So, I don't think it stole away gba people from the ds. I know my only reason why I bought a gba was to play pokemon and I'm sure that a lot of people did the same. The wii is also not dead and I hope you know metroid other M will get 90%+ on metacritic and so will zelda wii, super mario galaxy 2, new super mario bros. wii. And that's just the ones we know of...

 

Ps: Not a lot of people reviewed DC games that's why the score is so high on metacritic as well. The more reviews= the lower the scores.

 

 

I actually like the Wii more then the DC, tough when it comes to oldschool games, it still beats it IMO. Im not trying to force my taste on anybody else, thats just how I feel The ammount of reviewers also doesnt matters all that much IMO. At least 10-8 years ago I had some review sources that I trusted... now, I have none :-| I just trust myslef

 

The PSP... well I wont get into praising it since everyone knows that Im biased when it comes to the little shiny devil

Yes, the DC still has 2x as many AAA games on it as the WIi ;) The PSP is a subjective thing, mainly because Its still alive and kicking, and I can understand if somebody still doesnt considers it to be one of the top systems...

But the DC is... and if you ever where/are a hardcore gamer you should consider it top tire to ;)

Wow I didn't know Dreamcast had so many games that started with AAA.  Aren't you just a smart cookie now.  Funny thing is not one of those AAA games even comes close to Zelda so why even mention it hmm.  Hardcore systems?.... I didn't know you owned sex machines or at least that's what you think video games do for you child.

Zelda... now thats subjective... WInd Waker and PH where amazing IMO, but TP... well every opinion is different I guess. The DC was great, and if you never played one just dont even try and tell opinions about it ... if you did you wouldent talk about it like this. There is a reason why most critics and gamers around the world still consider it one of the best consoles of all.

And the closest way to proove this is the collective opinion of reviewers: metacritics... if you have a better solution please, do share, and I will take it into consideration ;)

Well yes... Zelda a hardcore game? Its arguable, I find Metroid to be the only trully hardcore series Nintendo has, and one that I love to death

 

And thanks for offering your help... too bad that english is only my 3rd arguably 4th language, that I only know so I can watch movies and play games whitout the need of any translation maybe if it was my native language, I would be a bit ashamed and jumped for the oportunity

Well I can always help you out with that.  The fortunate thing about the internet, is facial and bodily expressions are all gone.  Meaning if you know how to use the language properly... you can make anyone at anytime do anything, believing anything, or respond to something if you play it well.  It's really quite easy.  Just have to know how to play hardball.

Well if Zelda isn't a hardcore game then I guess there aren't many out then eh.  Maybe it is a dying breed.

What can I say... Im trully picky when it comes to games? Hell I dont consider games like KZ, Gears, Halo, CoD to be hardcore, so it might be just me. Seeing that I had probably insulted the fanbase of every single system I should be ready to get flamed
