Well to bad that the DC even with a 10 million installbase and 2 years out on the market had an arguably better library then the Wii has now ;) Or the fact that the PSP has now a 50 million userbase... I dont see how we could call either a failure ;)


Too bad the DC didn't have a better library now did it. It has good games, but the library of games is way too small. Psp sells almost no software and compared to the ds it is a failure.


Compared to the DS even the GBA is a failure seeing how the PSP has a shot at selling as much as it did, and yes even software wise, seeing that there are now over 200 million PSP games shiped ;) The PSP stands entirely on its own, and it pretty much stole away the entire GB market, except the hardcore Nintendo fans... and thats including me ( beeing a big GBA fan myself ;)).

 

The DC died, true, but it has 15 games rated above 90%, whiuloe the WIi has only 8 ;)

 

The DC has 50 games rated above 80%

 

The WIi has 54... with a 5x bigger instalbase... so no my friend, check some objective facts before posting about DC library size/quality... the WIi only beats it at shovelware ammount

I hope you do know that reviewers are a lot harsher now these days? Hey, I'm the first one to admit ps3/xbox360/PS2 have more quality games then the wii, but the DC? No, I will not take that. I actually believe the psp has created it's own market just like the wii did. The psp created the 3d core market for handhelds imho. I think a lot of people who owned the gba also bought a ds. So, I don't think it stole away gba people from the ds. I know my only reason why I bought a gba was to play pokemon and I'm sure that a lot of people did the same. The wii is also not dead and I hope you know metroid other M will get 90%+ on metacritic and so will zelda wii, super mario galaxy 2, new super mario bros. wii. And that's just the ones we know of...

 

Ps: Not a lot of people reviewed DC games that's why the score is so high on metacritic as well. The more reviews= the lower the scores.

 

 

I actually like the Wii more then the DC, tough when it comes to oldschool games, it still beats it IMO. Im not trying to force my taste on anybody else, thats just how I feel The ammount of reviewers also doesnt matters all that much IMO. At least 10-8 years ago I had some review sources that I trusted... now, I have none :-| I just trust myslef

 

The PSP... well I wont get into praising it since everyone knows that Im biased when it comes to the little shiny devil
