Sorry Leo-J but Sony didn't have announced GOW 3 yet so it is possible that their will be no GOW 3 on PS3.
(Still I would be surpised if GOW 3 will not come on PS3)

I'm almost (personally--I UNDERSTAND, I'M THE MINORITY IN THIS OPINION HERE) looking forward to it as much as I am Lost Odyssey.
Anyhow, I've got better things to do tonight than try to save the world from "consolism."
Well, I now only have access to a PS3 & 360...Plan on buying a wii soon (lol, if I can ever find one available!) but will probably wait until some of the major RPG's come out like Dragon Quest & Tales, etc.
Anyhow, I'm so far behind in games to play that I'm not in a huge hurry (lol, haven't even gotten a chance to finish God of War II yet!)
so we have argued exclusives so far, but what about just multiplatformers, are we going to see the trend reverse of more people buying the multiplatform version of games on the 360, as aposed to the ps3, I know one of the problems has been difrent release dates, and the install base problem
but if sales do not pick up for multiplatform relases i see a reduction headed the ps3 way

depends how PS3 handles their version of achievements i'd say. Otherwise, if the person has both consoles and live, if there are no differences i'd expect a 360 purchase because you pay for live and don't pay for the Ps3 online.
Sounds like it should be the opposite incase you drop the live service, but paying for something gives it more value. Even if installed bases become equal i think more people will go with the service you pay for multiplatform wise.

i admit alot of people did hype those 3 games but i mean come on the people who thought about it logically didnt dot that...
Ninja gaiden has always been hyped... poeple dont buy it though because its known for being so dam hard and because of the genre its in...
extra content is a nice feature to GTA.. but really it depends on the person... im willing to bet majority of people actually dont finish all the content in GTA 3, 2, etc...

I will probably pick up a 360 alongside Fable 2, and get classics such as Halo 3, GeOW and Halo Wars at a reduced price. *rubs hands* |
You are quite incorrect. Konami executives have stated that in order to make a significant profit on MGS4's enormous development budget, they may "consider bringing it to other systems."

Also another addition to the lineup is Kameo 2 for the Xbox 360. The first one hardly sold gangbusters, but it was a fantastic title. Also, as it looks like a cute platformer, the inevitably lower price of the 360 next yr could make it "casually accessible."
Then of course there is Saints Row 2, which will sell fantastically especially on the 360 due to the popularity of the first.
