I think it's pretty convenient that when it helps their side PS3 fanboys argue that sales = quality, but are quick to argue that sales mean nothing when it doesn't...

Gran Turismo 2 (the lowest selling in the main series) has outsold Forza 1 and 2 combined.

Gran Turismo 3 (the highest selling Gran Turismo) has almost done TRIPLE of what Forza 1 and 2 have done COMBINED.

I have good reason to belive that Gran Turismo 5 will wipe the floor clean with Forza 3.

PS3 is not PS2.

And Forza aint no Gran Turismo either.

Funny how about a year or so ago he was saying the exact opposite.

I haven't read the whole thread and surely someone has already posted the link, but I distinctly remember him saying PS3 was going to comeback to 1st place by 2012 or something.

But, that was when PS3 was only 7 million behind 360 and half Wii sales. I guess now that it is about 8 million behind and still less than half Wii sales it has no chance. lol!!

The gap hasn't changed one way or the other in 8-9 months without either getting a pricecut. There is nothing to suggest that Pachter is right, but there is nothing to suggest he's wrong either, for that matter.
All that remains to be seen is what kind of an impact (if any) further pricecuts will have on both machines.

Regardless; Pachter is usually full of shit (as we all know) and it is always funny to see how his predictions pan out and fall on their asses.
