Wii Fit, Mario Kart, Mario Party 8 were so underestimated
the Wii alone was underestimated as well

I think Microsoft expected to be in first. They sure talked like they did, at least.
Software - Mario kart for sure
Hardware - the huge lead that wii quickly opened up
