I shall!

Mass Effect is basically KotOR without the Star Wards licence, and both of them did between 1 and 2 million. The closest game we have to it this gen is Oblivion, which did just over 2 million.

The difference is that Mass Effect is the best game evar(!!!), and I predict it will slowly and steadily climb to just over 2 million. I'm not making any predictions about first week sales because I don't know much about them, and they don't matter anyway, because life-time sales are around twenty infinities times more important.

What's with these hardware predictions??? These are around ioi's predicted Halo 3 boost... come on people. Mass Effect isn't going to effect hardware much. Like Bioshock the game will sell well but it will sell to existing playerbase. It's not going to sell systems like Halo 3.

Im not much for predictions, but I hope for 3 million total worldwide. But since it's so hardcore, maybe Im hoping for too much

Nazna, the hardware increase is because the game is released right around Thanksgiving Weekend in the US. It is the biggest weekend for retail sales all year. Hardware for every platform should be up significantly.
