Time to make predictions about what amounts to the next Xbox 360 software juggernaut. The prediction is two parts. The first part is total software sales the first week. The second part is total hardware sales for that week. The two differences are added together, and the lowest combined number of difference is the winner. So you can hit the software on the head, but if your a million off on hardware no dice you will be the most wrong poster in the thread.

Rules.

You are only permitted one prediction. All predictions are final no later editing of predictions are permitted. You have until 11.59 PM Eastern Standard time October 30th to make a prediction. After that all predictions will be ignored. That is three weeks from scheduled launch which is November 20th. So you have a month to refine your predictions if you like before you make them. Do not copy the numerical values of another poster. All numbers should be rounded numbers. Obvious but I expect a few people think they are cool by using idiotic numbers like single digits or removing the decimal from pi. Other then that just use common sense, and take the thread seriously.

Format example.

Should be the first thing in your post followed by your reasoning if you so choose. The original poster will attempt to be timely in compileing the predictions in the second thread. The original poster will defer making a prediction till the exercise is near a close to prevent any appearance of bias, or influence upon those making predictions.

The second post in this thread is a dedicated master list for predictions. There is no limit as to how many can participate unless we get some massive number say hundreds of predictions. Which is far from likely, but the original poster will close the prediction submission down if that were to occur. So nobody should feel rushed be serious about your predictions, and take the time if you feel you need it this thread isn't going anywhere.
