It's both right before the comercials start it says that Jackass 2 is going to be on that night. Then it's says Jackass 2 is sponsored by The Conduit on the wii, and about 5 secs after it goes into The Conduit commercial...

Ahh, I see. So there IS an actual commercial for the game, cool. :) It'd be pretty dumb otherwise, but this is sweet. :)

I wonder if we'll see any advertising here in Eurpope, I've been seeing a ton, - A TON - of commercials for 1st party Wii games lately. Wii Fit, Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Galaxy, Rhythm Paradise, Walk With Me... it's crazy. I mean, I see them almost every single time there's a commercial break, really.

I would say in a few weeks since the game got pushed back...

Yeah, I just hope they will advertise. This game deserves it.

There are some reader reviews on IGN right now.I think from the demos(or has it been released anywhere yet?).The average score is 9.6.Thats if you don't count the troll whose username is "wiisuckslol" and whose review was titled "FUCK DIS STOOPID GEY KIDDY SHITIIWII GAME".His review begins:
"AHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH YOU WIITARDS ARE SO CUTE AND FUNNY I CANT BELIVE U HYPE DIS GAME WHEN YOU KNO IT SUCKS I FEEL SRRY FOR YOU GEY WIITARDS YOU GOT NO GAMES YOU GOT NO ONLINE YOU GOT SHIT..."
He gave it a perfect 0.0,forcing 2 readers to write their own reviews to counter his.They had to give it perfect 10s to do this.If you don't count this guy & the 2 peeps dat countered him,the average reader review score is 9.6.

Well, just spoke with an older friend of mine.

He said after playin shooters on the 360, he didn't see the point in "shooting bugs" and giant flies all day like the commercial showed. I guess The Conduit has just come too late in this generation to be seen as interesting. Been there, done that.

Ive seen (maybe a week or two ago) at the walmart game section the tv's have played Conduit trailers. I dont know if thats Walmart promoting it or if SEGA did that...was cool to see tho.

That's what I've been saying for a year now. There nothing wrong with the game, but it's now generic. It also means that the FPS fans have played it and own it. In a manner of speaking. This game won't do well. Especially with the time of these comercials. The people who watch these already for the most part have  chosen there game system to play FPS on.

apx 500k after a year.



Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

Not a big deal but I just saw a Gamefly commercial while I was watching ATHF on Adult Swim. I saw The Conduit's boxart (along with some other games) on a laptop (I think? It was showing the gamefly site) that was used in the commercial.
