I think 80% of your posts the last week or so have been "PS3 is doing fine, no price cut needed".

I'm just pulling your leg cause I would tend to agree with you. I am just amazed, and a little frightened, with your frequency of saying the same thing (you even made a thread I believe).

Im scared for the Wii. The big bad PS3 is coming to get it!

yeah I do, as the gap is still small between despite the huge price difference

this is coming from me, not microsofts people

If I was them, I would be disappointed at the RAW sales gap, its way too small for the price difference thats present

If SONY sells more, they make a bigger loss

they sell less, they make less of a loss

I don't know what way around SONY can do, your saying as SONY aren't making a profit & Ms are, automatically Ms is happy

I'm saying MS isn't happy because of the RAW SALES GAP being lower than it should be, I mean for gods sake an arcade 360 is £30 more than a PS2.....I am disappointed the sales gap isn't bigger

Also Europe was never going to be friendly to the Xbox 360 no matter what Microsoft did. However now they have done well this time they have a chance to compete more evenly for these consumers next time as they will actually be respected as a viable alternative.

P.S. The features like wireless, noise, brand seem more important to European consumers than American. So the fact that some consumers will not buy one at any price isn't really Microsofts problem, they just do their best as in Japan where they are automatically 3 steps behind by virtue of not owning a Nintendo or Sony platform.

I think what Darth is trying to say,
is that the gap of sales currently between PS3 and 360... is small, compared to what it SHOULD be with the entry level prices.
