Also Europe was never going to be friendly to the Xbox 360 no matter what Microsoft did. However now they have done well this time they have a chance to compete more evenly for these consumers next time as they will actually be respected as a viable alternative.
P.S. The features like wireless, noise, brand seem more important to European consumers than American. So the fact that some consumers will not buy one at any price isn't really Microsofts problem, they just do their best as in Japan where they are automatically 3 steps behind by virtue of not owning a Nintendo or Sony platform.
