PS3Center.net has uncovered a job posting for Team Bondi which suggests that L.A. Noire may still be PS3 exclusive. The job posting mentions no developers names, but was posted at a similar time to Team Bondi's job postings that are available on their own website, and use similar wording.
The above listing mentions that the company is working on up to "3 exclusives for the next generation of PlayStaion." This is likely to mean PS3, but could also include PSP. Looking on the companies website a simialr job posting is found here. Both listings use a similar wording e.g. "demonstrate techniques in modeling for both low poly and subdivision." and "a passion for cars would help". Both listings were also posted around the same time, 27-29 May 2009, so this information is NOT past it's sell-by date. The only game currently listed as in-development by Team Bondi is L.A. Noire, so maybe it is PS3 exclusive after all? Team Bondi was also founded by Brendan McNamara, the former Director of Development for Sony Computer Entertainment’s Team Soho Studio in London and the writer and director of The Getaway. So there may still be some loyalty to Sony in this studio... |
