Usually, only good games are played long and seriously enough to be finished. That's why this poor man says that, he probably haven't seen a good game for years. If you can't continue playing your game, it's not good enough, period. Think about it. I still play Street Fighter II, Thunder Force IV, Super Mario Bros, Radiant Silvergun or Cave Story. Your game is boring after a few hours of play? Bad luck, next time get a good game instead :)

Well if you put it that way ... I still can play through Crash 3 as many times as anyone asks me ... and still dont get board of it :)

Exactly.  Fun games I finish because quite honestly I can't stop playing them.  Is why so many games seem so short since you can't put the controller down.    

I can't believe some of you are claiming you don't finish all your games. The only games i haven't finished are either
a) games i rented, but didn't have enough time to play
b) old NES/SNES games that were near imposible
c) oblivion/morrowind since i can't do anything but sidequests and there are way to many to ever think about actually playing the main quests
d) tetris, it keeps going...
