That's not good news at all.

How? This gives them a chance to announce more Western-esque announcements at E3, then Japanese-esque announcements later. It's a double win.

With Nintendo there is no difference bewteen "Western" and "Eastern" games. Its not like they are gonna announce 5 FPSs at E3 and 5 Dating Sims and Visual Novels in Japan.

Maybe i should be more clear? Most games released by Nintendo have world wide appeal. I.E. whats good for Japan is good for the rest of the world.

Games like MH3 and Another Code and Sin and Punishment and Samurai Warriors 3 and whatever was announced at their Japanese conferences in October for the past two years and they didn't appear at E3. So there is a difference in where they will announce certain games.

Well yeah if you count 3rd party games.

Uh-oh.
If this means a bad E3 showing, I kinda want to see people booing them, then feeling really bad after they release the big games later.

Doesn't work as well as the Link one did. Link gave the proper and unambiguous impression: Hector could just be wondering what cheeseburger to order.

After Nintendo devotes some time to the Wii MotionPlus, Wii Sports: Resort, the DSi, announces a couple of big games, and gives some sales information how much attention would the announcment of Mario Party 9 being released in September with full Wii MotionPlus support get? Realistically, not that much ... Between the bigger announcments for the platform a game is released on and the announcements for other platforms, it is very difficult for an expected game to get much attention from the press or gamers; and it may make sense to hold off on the announcement to a later date when the news is less crowded.

Except that's not Hector.
