the irony is that because these are estimates that there is a 10% chance the PS3 outsold the 360 without America's sales up and there is a 10% chance it hasn't.

YAWN again

Both PS3 and 360 sales are scraping the gutter. Both are coming close to hitting two year lows. The only difference between them is that while the PS3 hasn't had a price drop for almost 20 months, is by far the most expensive console, and has yet to come close to hitting a mass-market price point, the 360 on the otherhand had a sizable price drop only 9 months ago, is the least expensive next-gen console on the market, and is priced at the mass-market price point of $199.99.

If PS3 is doing bad, 360 is doing horrible.

It costs half as much child, it better be selling more. Actually it should be selling a hell of a lot more not wii levels but somewhere between PS3/wii.

Clearly its not.

Twingo....If the Xbox 360 is the number 2 console...would it not be selling somewhere between the difference of the Wii to PS3 sales?

360 is half the price of PS3 and it is fading away in sales. PS3 with price cut and its Game Over for the 360. PS3 sales will surge with next price cut. Just you all waitr and see.

The 360 is not Half the price of the PS3...The Arcade version is....There is a difference!

Maybe you should take a look at sales in mid 2007 if you think it's close to a 2 year low.

The Xbox Elite is 399.99 where do you get this 199.99 from?..the arcade version?..you think that is the version that is selling the most?.....

well we know in the US the average price last month was $270,  i doubt there is many elites sold.  It's probably about 60/40 or 55/45 with pro ahead.  Either way, a price cut on the pro is a price cut to the majority that still sees the 360 as a $300 console.
