So that being said When all is said and done because of the sexy legs of PS3 games if they are good. In lifetime sales, i thick you will lose. and i am willing to take the bet.

If MGS4 is wheezing to get there I doubt Unchartered or it's sequel will.  I don't think LTD the OP is right in his prediction so that's a pretty safe bet you have there.  It could be a interesting bet for first week sales combined though.

Please, he wont take it world wide because he knows GT5 will crush ODST WW because the Europeans and Japanese wont touch ODST, and GT5 will sell well in America also. It would be funny to see him take it WW.

As for the topic, I remember a few people thinking Halo Wars would trounce all sorts of sales records too, just because Halo is in the name, like a bunch of excutives at MS also apparently think. ODST may or may not sell well, depends on how heavily they push the Halo 3 connection.

Kind of like they never said Halo Wars was an RTS or showed video outside the CGI cutscenes in the TV ads.



I own all three current consoles and a great gaming rig, now thats out of the way.

um i was wagering on ODST out selling GT as a possibility ... sorry for the misunderstanding .... and im betting euro land could get a good number of sales

To me I think Halo ODST will sell about 4 million because Master Chief will not be in it. Really who still want to play Halo. The game is overrated to me and it have 5 year olds playing it all the time online.  Microsoft is sucking as much life as they can out of Halo. The game has ended at Halo 3. Make up a new game francise already.

Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

How many players play halo 3 daily? or atleast a few times a week? I'd say atleast 80% of that number will pick it up. And a few newcomers will buy the game.

But as far as the topic goes. Id buy three great games over just one, anyday of the week.
