Not really, I guess you could use AC as a measuring stick as to how well Prototype will do. Most of its sales look likely to happen in America and the 360's userbase reignes supreme against the PS3's there. So its nothing to do with Infamous ...

No I'm not being sarcastic, why would I be? inFAMOUS will most likely be what more PS3 fans pick up. Just from what I'm observing, they're more excited about inFAMOUS.

Well most recent multi platform games have performed better on the ps3 (resident evil 5, street fighter 4 etc) so your argument about which will perform more has no bearings on the sales of prototype.  Second the only factual statement I can think of about why it will perform "better" is because we will have the superior InFamous which will eat any sales for the ps3 version of prototype.  Other than that, that is the only reason prototype will under-perform on the ps3.

 

 

THEY SOLD BETTER BECAUSE OF JAPAN ... how many flaming times .. I'm fed up of repeating myself.

 

This game will not sell in Japan ... so your Resident Evil 5 and SF4 argument does NOT wash.

Well, I think Prototype will be hammered because of the unoriginal story (from what we have seen so far), and for the lack of depth. From the trailers so far, that's what I think will happen. My guess is that it will land at 84-85 in metacritic score.

inFamous seems to be the much more solid game, and both OPM UK and IGN seems to be agreeing on that with their scores.

In general, I think inFamous will be the better reviewed game, and Prototype will probably end up outselling it ~2:1.

Anyway...
Ive scoured the net, and inFamous reviews have been in the 9s...
