If you follow nordleads link you see the grey bar. All the different categories there are clickable and after you clicked one of them (publisher, sales, last updated etc.) you have the order you always wished to have.

But I think the old system where you could choose the order in the menu above was a bit more user friendly...

Dude, this has been possible FOREVER. How did you not know about it? All you need to do is click on sales. lol Although, I think it being under sales should be the default and not hits.
