I don't care what kind of animal they are, point is, they remind me a lot of they predecessor. I dunno what the hell is a starling, but I see Starly and I can't help ot think "this is Pigdey with a coat of paint". And I get the same with every other Pokemon I listed, and probably more. I just think they're running out of ideas. With gen 1 and 2, the Pokemon felt fresh, and thus the games were memorable, now it seems like they're rehashing them and keep the old, tried, true but also stale formula to keep launching games. I think the series is in need either a complete makeover (which, with how things look like, it's impossible). Since that won't happen, at least a remake of the best game will be good, since here I won't be disappointed when things are TOO MUCH THE SAME

And for Farfetch'd's evo or pre, don't cherry pick, but just wait till the next gen, you'll probably see it there anyway

 

 

 This just makes me think that in YOUR opinion, the formula is tired and YOU think that it's old.

Your opinions are definitely not shared by everyone and they're definitely not fact.

Yeah, it's my opinion, so what? You're welcome to disagree, I've presented my opinion and justified it as I could. I don't see what's wrong with that

I've gotta say, I don't think the Pokémon feel like rehashes, I just think they don't feel very interesting at all. That's why I'm so hyped about G/S remakes, if this turns out to be true, because G/S are by far my favorite Pokémon games.

I hope they put "Red" or whatever he's called at the end of the game again. That was awesome fighting his team and the big level Pikachu.

GameFreak may add A LOT more content to it. There is also the possibility that Kanto will not look like utter crap this time and not some watered down version of what it was in G/S/C.

There will be a Moss Stone in Ilex Forest and a Frost Stone in the Ice Path. I hope they make an exclusive Eevee evolution in this; the Dragon-type. Would be neat if you could only evolve Eevee into it at the Dragon's Den; wouldn't be able to trade to D/P/Pt due to the harsher/colder weather conditions of Sinnoh (that's a better excuse). Plus I'd think that the areas would be much longer in these remakes due to there being no limitations on storage space.

I think it would be cool if it's not on DS. That it's a Pokemon Wii game. Remake Gold/Silver, put in on Wii, let people come to your world and do stuff. Test the waters for a MMO.
