I would say Killzone is my second fav game this gen behind Uncharted. I felt sharing my opinion on this was important since the consensus is so far.... wrong.

Totally agreed. You'l struggle to come across a better shooter, and KZ2 online is fantastic.

I am fairly aware of some games coming for this console, the ones that made me buy it. God of War 3, Heavy Rain, Versus, and my Killzone 2 bet with Makingmusic.

I like shooters with good single player campaigns, RPG's and good adventure games. I know what's already out there, tell me about what's coming.

Do you? You're missing Uncharted, Folklore and Valkyria Chronicles.

How into RPGs are you though?

Uncharted I am renting this week.  Folklore...I dont really think I am interested.  Valkyria, I am interested.  It's not worth a whole lot of cash to me for an SRPG, but I'm definitely interested.

I've very into RPG's, though I have played a lot more Western ones.

Well, Folklore is an absolutely brilliant game.

Valkyria Chronicles is something that everyone here loves. I would really try to get a hold of it.

And on Tales, you can import the American version because the PS3 is region free.

Well put it this way.  I am really liking Killzone 2 so far.

But I can't honestly say it is as good as Gears 2 so far.  That may change, and I know people just expect me to say Killzone 2 is worse.  It is very good.  It's just not as good yet.

Glad you like it. Personally, I thought the game got better and better as you progress, but I have no clue how it stands compared to Gears of War 2. But it's a great shooter no less

 Although I dont mind if KZ is better than Gears (since the PS3 "got it's Gears of war" two years late it dont matter haha), it doesn't bode well for the future. Next thing I know you'll be praising MGS4...
