Well if you look at what has happend in Japan this year...It seems that every console has chance on there.

While in Europe and American its always Wii and Ds on top.But lately Ps3 is owning Wii in Japan and PSP vs DS fight is  very interesting.Even Xbox 360 has outsold Wii in Japan..

Software is always new as well. PSP is having about 1 new game per week, while in Europe and American newest was Resistance, and before that I cant remember.Ds and Wii software aint same as at Europe/America where in top 10 there is always Mario Karts and Wii fits..

Whats good thing that people wont keep buying consoles without new releases. With that in mind = more games!

Funny, I've thought for a very long time that Japan is the only country without interesting sales ... But to each their own.

I just like to see what I own being successful.

Somewhat interesting in that software affects hardware sales more than in other territories, but not because Japan sales are that relevant these days.

I think so, yes. Outside Japan, it's always DS>Wii>X360>PS3>PSP. With Japan, it's constantly changing. This week, for example, it's PS3>DS>PSP>Wii>X360. A while ago, we had a DS>PSP>X360>Wii>PS3.

yeas that y i make my will the ps3 outsell the wii in japan threads all other regions the sales arent to close in the fall time wen the 360 and ps3 get price cuts then it will be fun 4 the other regions

But one thing is the same as other region, that is the accumulated sales:
DS >> PSP
Wii >> PS3 + XBOX360
