Yeah, FF is a really niche series. Almost as niche as Halo in America. Almost.

And you know, more Japanese people speak English than Japanese. And they hate Sony so much, and love Microsoft so much, that they would buy a 360 and import FF13 from America, because then they also get to play Star Ocean IV and Lost Odyssey.

You know what Japanese people hate even more than robots? Games where you walk around in a large 2D world, with quick time battles where you have four options for what to do. They hate those.

No, I don't hate Pokemon. I like it very much. But when you simplify it, that's what it is.

It's obvious you haven't seen the #s. It's also obvious that you mustn't understand the word "doomed". How exactly is the PS3 doomed? 57,000 PS3s in Japan = doomed?

 

i try to make these sales threads with a bit of comedy as well with the party trowing and wat ever else i throw in some posters dont get it though

Id say it has, according to Famitsu, 15k wii, 57k PS3. It was a gap of 42k units, and almost 4 times the Wii sales. The only downside to this success is that that gap will not mean a whole lot when compared with the Americas sales

Wow! if numbers like these can come about because of a demo imagine what it will be like with the full game out exclusively on the ps3 in Japan!!!! Also imagine tales of vesperia coming about on the ps3 as well in Japan. I think things are looking up for Sony, good job.

According to Famitsu's number the Wii sold 15k and the PS3 57k.

So, it more than tripled the Wii's numbers. Which is insane because it is just a blu-ray movie with a demo.

Quadruple would be something like 56/14 or 49/13.

yes thats cool but im going according to VGC #s since its a sales giant website on thw www which tend to have a habbit of being different than other sites

damn i should of put quadruple in the OP things would of been more hectic in here im going to go see if the Wii ever 3x, 4x, or 5x the ps3 in japan b4 thanks 4 those #'s by the way leo-j uh that even ryhmed
