I never read any posts on this site talking about how Microsoft obtained its lead through price cuts and rushing asystem through development so that it was out a year early....
Then you apparently haven't read any posts on this site.
how instead of making a unique system they copy about 90 percent of what Sony already did and not only that but also targeted Sony user base...
Before the 360, wasn't Sony's userbase "everybody"? Who else was MS supposed to target? Or did Sony call dibs on everyone?
One thing I love and respect about Nintendo is that they have always done things there way. Never copied another system they have always stayed 100 percent devoted to games and gamers. Sony wanted a wider base for example they wanted to be a massive media console watch movies play games etc.... and thats cool but before Microsoft made there own identy... like a unique gaming console they instead copy everything that Sony has already done
They not only had the gall to copy the PS3... they had the gall to release it first! The worst kind of copycat!
Except for X-box live and even that was based loosely on what Sega had going on with there Dreamcast. Not only that but all the content on the market that they purchase... locking PS3 owners out of DLC content and demos for games like GTA Because they want something they can't obtain on there own by SKILL they toss loads of money at developers to do there best to lock Sony out.. Microsoft in my opnion is Terrified of Sony otherwise they wouldn't be trying so hard to put them under
It takes SKILL to buy developers and increase their budgets, whereas it only takes MONEY to buy individual games. I learned something today.
Sony on the other hand sits back and instead trying to buy up exclusive content they actually make games that seem to out perform 360 in every single way conceivable.... except sales...
Apparently "graphics" = "every single way conceivable", since PS3 has yet to have a multiplayer on par in every way to Halo 3, or a TPS on par with Gears, or an RPG on Par with Mass Effect. And XBLA has better offerings than PSN.
Quality dosent always mean Quanity and Sony only draw back is the price. Anyway's my personal thoughts if Sony drops its price $50 or better yet $100 Microsoft will never see there console toping Sony EVER! again in America or anywhere else for that matter
You assume the price difference is all that matters, but most Xbox sales are the Pro, not the arcade. Which means that most people aren't purchasing the 360 because it's 1/2 the price. And whereas the arcade has a low price point, the Pro has room to counter a PS3 price drop easily.
