No one will like The Conduit. Wii owners are just going to have to accept that....while they enjoy playing the hell out of it!

True, it's not.
That is a nice picture of "Killzone" in your sig, btw.

Best game ever.
| TWRoO said: From what they said about the controls I am not sure they played it, (and I am not saying this in a "how can they suck!" biased way, I mean the way they phrased the bit about the controls as if they hadn't tried them, but were hoping they were better than other shooters) |
thats what people said when LAIR got its first bad review
come on they wouldn't lie so blatantly
At first I thought it was poorly written, but it's from gamereactor.se, so it was clearly translated from another language. Maybe someone here who can speak swedish can verify that the translation is accurate and provide a list of main points?

Review and preview are not the same thing, that and I don't think this is really a preview.... they didn't lie anywhere, there was just basically no mention of anything gameplay related at all.
This is the nearest they get and it is only talking about other games gameplay.
"But as we all know, graphics aren't everything, and there are several games for the Nintendo Wii that deliver unbeatable entertainment without needing to rely on the latest technology. Meaning that a lot hangs on how well-developed the controls for The Conduit are, something that's been, to say the least, lacking in most first-person shooters for the console. The Conduit will support online play, and gives you deathmatches, an initiative a lot of actionhungry Wii-owners will be happy about - Several of us here at the magazine included."
Basically this whole preview gives out these points:
- Some voice casting mentioned, they aparently don't like some guys acting, but do like some other guy
- Graphics mediocre (I can live with that if it turns out to be true)
- Other games on Wii don't rely on graphics.
- The Conduits controls are important to the games quality
- Other FPS on Wii have had poor controls.
- Features mentioned (Online deathmatch etc... other stuff we already knew about)
That's basically it.

FYI, Killzone is not even close to being gray. If you had actually played through the whole game, you would've noticed that orange, yellow and red are the dominant colors in the game.

3/5 is a pretty accurate score for Resident Evil. I would give it about 3.5/5 top.
Back on topic, I've never been impressed by this game (don't crucify me please), so I'm not really surprised by this. I expect this game to get reviews in the 70s. I'd be impressed if the game could prove me wrong though.

This was not a review. This was someone saying how hyped they were for the game. Their hype was at 2/5, not the game.
