From what they said about the controls I am not sure they played it, (and I am not saying this in a "how can they suck!" biased way, I mean the way they phrased the bit about the controls as if they hadn't tried them, but were hoping they were better than other shooters)

thats what people said when LAIR got its first bad review

come on they wouldn't lie so blatantly

Review and preview are not the same thing, that and I don't think this is really a preview.... they didn't lie anywhere, there was just basically no mention of anything gameplay related at all.

This is the nearest they get and it is only talking about other games gameplay.

"But as we all know, graphics aren't everything, and there are several games for the Nintendo Wii that deliver unbeatable entertainment without needing to rely on the latest technology. Meaning that a lot hangs on how well-developed the controls for The Conduit are, something that's been, to say the least, lacking in most first-person shooters for the console. The Conduit will support online play, and gives you deathmatches, an initiative a lot of actionhungry Wii-owners will be happy about - Several of us here at the magazine included."

Basically this whole preview gives out these points:

- Some voice casting mentioned, they aparently don't like some guys acting, but do like some other guy
- Graphics mediocre (I can live with that if it turns out to be true)
- Other games on Wii don't rely on graphics.
- The Conduits controls are important to the games quality
- Other FPS on Wii have had poor controls.
- Features mentioned (Online deathmatch etc... other stuff we already knew about)

That's basically it.
