Good, thinking "one million seller per week" is a better way to picture yourself the number in your head (did that make any sense?) instead of my Tomb Raider example.

One per week sounds more realistic and makes sense, since there are usually no more than a handful of console games released every week.

Impressive, and I bet that the PS2's list could grow at least to 280 if tracked correctly ;) But still probably this site doesnt lists at least 200 million sellers, and thats not counting PC games, that, lets be honest, at this point on its pretty much uncountable ;)

I think it will take time to see the first 1 billion seller, i think it's possible if we had the gaming market very big worldwide, the first 100 million seller will probably be wii sports, and even wii fit if gets price cuts with time.

Can u see any trends? I mean specifically how this gens consoles, at what point in time are they getting their million sellers.

Let's say the X360 has 60 million sellers, how many of those were reached in the last 12 months? That would be interesting to know, and thus be able to calculate if it has the chance to beat the PS2 eventually.

Or more realistically, see if the Wii has that chance.
