What happened with vg 2.0? I thought it was supposed to be launched a few weeks ago.

I expect the next big push for VGChartz when the next generation of consoles launches.

We should then be able to benefit from our popularity and use the hype of the "next gen" to attract more users. Unfortunately our focus on sales numbers brings ups and downs but we are always expanding our userbase and if I remember correctly we're back to late 2007 / early 2008 numbers now which is a huge achievement considering the numbers were much more interesting back then.

It could help make the site better, and can attract a few more users. But, it will take much more to throw up in the level of IGN and other big sites.

No. VGChartz is big, but IGN is huge.

To me, a good thing. I hate overly massive boards.



GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

Should we AT LEAST expect an influx of many more users (not members necessarily) but USERS/VIEWERS coming to this site? Maybe but weve been getting them with out it

The problem with VGC getting rankings like ign and others is that those sites have reviews wen games come out and even b4 the game comes out they have hands ons and previews of games b4 other sites as well, they also expanded to movie data as well.

VGC is video game charts it shouldnt have reviews and all this other new stuff its getting it should be about #s i mean look at this old VGC logo

theirs a bar, line, pie graph and a sentence telling people wats in the site it was unique no other site is like it with wat it offers almost like my pricng history thread u cant get that info nowhere else on the web. Now the current logo doesnt even have any charts it has a 360 controller with some lines coming out of it wats that mean?

 

It like the Resident Evil series at 1st it was a true horror game with good story telling then the wanted to be all mainstream and make it shooter and add popular things to it and still keep the name u cant do that thats being fake.  I feel thats wat VGS is doing adding all these not needed things and forgeting who they really are
