FFX is considered to be among the best games in the series along with IV, VI, and VII by many gamers.

 Final Fantasy X to me is the best FF game and one of the best jrpgs i've ever played.

Deservingly. Many on these forums, however, dislike it.

I personally would have said Final Fantasy X, but X-2 left a really bad taste in my mouth (storywise). Also I kinda dislike Tidus and Wakka, but those are characters and not the story.
