well is LP2 confirmed for 360 only i heard of it going to ps3 because if your are talking bout multiplatform games then dead rising 2 is set for 2010 realese

I am very satisfied with 2009. I already bought Resident Evil 5, Street Fighter 4, Star Ocean and Fear 2. I also bought last year's Too Human. Oh, and the Sonic Genesis Collection. I still need to play some of these games for more than 20 minutes. What's wrong with relying on 3rd party multiplats? What I gathered from this website is that a console has a shitty library if it doesn't have too many exclusives. Not only that, Sony always has a great library according to the users here.

Mass Effect 2 is enough to get me excited. The rest of the lineup they have at the moment isn't very thrilling to me.

If Microsoft followed its past trend, then 2010 would be the year of the Xbox 720 since it only allowed the original Xbox four years.

However, knowing that the market composition is quite different today, that will not happen (I would imagine there would be word if MS or anyone planned to release a new console for this holiday season.

At this point, the software lineup looks good. But as is generally the case at this stage of a console's life, it is usually going to be more designed for maintaining the satisfaction of the current ownership rather than generating significant new ownership.

In other words, the games coming out might be great but they won't be system sellers. Still, the next 12-18 months looks like it will bring good stuff for Xbox 360 owners.

This whole discussion is a waste of time. No doubt many 2009 titles will end up in 2010 and some vice versa.

And it's not even like Sony is packing nothing for next year, with GOW3, Trico, FF13 Versus, etc.

What about Gears of War 3 in 2010? I hate Gears but its a big series.

Wii has No More Heroes 2, and that alone makes it a pretty big contender
