Generic, just like the game (looks).

I think the good thing about this cover is that it'll stand out on store shelves, maybe for the wrong reasons but it'll stand out none the less

this is just a standard format on steroids:
main character in foreground facing foreward with the enviroment and enemies in the backround, but it has him holding 2 thing(wtf), and the glasses don't help.
it should have been with his back facing us and ruined buildings in the back so that it can give it a dark tone, oh wait, I forgot it was T rated(wow).

If that box art was a chick and I was drunk I still wouldn't tap that. Hideous.

I like the cover. I thinks it cool. However, if it's not the final it wouldn't matter to me I would still buy.

He is looking directly towards the gun, which is emitting a blue light.

If anything, his shades are black and he is just catching the blue reflection in his shades. It would probably look much worse if we just saw his face completely. We'd then get that he looks ugly,or he looks this celebrity, or he isn't "manly" enough.
