I said GTA not GTAIV.Put it this way when a GTA releases sales skyrocket for about 2weeks and then drop down to double for 2weeks then go to about normal with a slight increase on sales from before the GTA release name a 3RDPARTY title on the Wii that can do this that are announced right now.

GTA from rockstar is Big
Fallout 3 from Bethesda is BIg.

And how do you reconcile with the fact that 3 of those 4 big games are on the 360, and if what Konami keeps alluding to is true, the last one will also be on the 360?


Not on the wii are they, which is what this thing is about.

Here FF13, Versus, HeavyRain, LANoire, MGS3 Big ass games and not on the 360

Hmm...let's take multiplats out then. PS3 now has: Haze MGS4* FF XIII R&C Fallout 3 isn't hyped, neither is Burnout and Burnout will not do well as expected. F3 won't help much. And in your opinion PS3>Wii in T-P games, opinion=/=fact.

Ofcourse the wii has more 3rd party exclusives, seriously look at the 3rd party games, not much are Hardcore, or even casual for that matter. Im not saying its a kiddy system(which is the truth in 3rd party games) , I mean it has metroid, and zelda and mario.

These are the only TP exclusives I can think off for the ps3

Haze

MGS4

FFXIII

FFVERSUSXIII

also R&C is first party, since its developed and published by sony.

No we are talking about MARKET SHARE. The fact is if X360 and PS3 have the SAME GAMES on both systems, it will not be system sellers like they were when they were exclusive. They wont have as much impact. And until one of them BLOWS the other out of the water, they will fight for the same marketshare and 3rd party support.

 

On the flip side, the Wii is at an advantage and disadvantage. It wont get those ports that the other two will and multiplatform will be worse probably throughout the course of this gen. BUT it also means more exclusives for the Wii. As developers see its potential. So even if the Wii gets 100+ spin offs and only a few new IPs, the 360 and PS3 will fight for the same old IPs reducing their impact.

 Those games iwll not be system sellers because it wont sell BOTH systems.
