I read recently that GDC didn't want any major announcements. I will be interested to see what Epic and Crytek bring to the table in terms of their engines.

Thanks for the input, Jeff.

Molyneaux should be showing what he is working on.

Hell yeah to Starsiege Tribes browser game.

Halo Studios person talking about the engine they are developing.

My company is having a booth there. Really good stuff going on.

They will be debuting Starsiege: Tribes as an in-browser game. They have a lot of great stuff going on with their in-browser technology, so that's going to be neat.

They may have a few hidden announcements under their sleeves

I don't trust your hidden announcements anymore! You big tease!

That was the announcement. The Earthsiege/Starsiege/Tribes series got bought out, and is going to be revived as a browser-based game.

Tribes, AFAIK, sold over 1 million copies....So that's a pretty big IP.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

stickball, I will be playing some Tribes on you guy's site. Excellent work aquiring that game. It is my favorite pc fps besides Quake 1.

ff7 remake!!

Nothing big, those are kept for TGS and E3. My guess is at most the new Insomniac game being announced, it actually seems a certainty as the game should release this year.

Are there usually big announcements at GDC?? If so then Metal Gear Solid 5!!! AND RE6!!!! Shit, while we're at it, Final Fantasy 15!!!! YES, FIFTEEN!!!!

Not expecting much since the last ones where meh. Only good news that came out of them was that the Crystal Tools was going to be supported by all consoles. But that's it. I hope this one's better though with Iwata doing a keynote though...

What about GeoW 2 last year

Weren't LBP and Home announced at GDC a couple years ago?
