SO4 for me no mater what is a huge disappointment sales wise.....people who disagree can say all they want about xbox 360's low userbase but the fact remains that SO has LOST Japanese fans.....and many of them.

Sad thing is its a fabulous game apparently

PS3 HW is a disappointing IMO.......I dunno what mrstickball meant bout diminishing returns but it doesn't make sense for PS3 to have its 2nd best SW game ever n sell such low HW

As I said, Yakuza 3 is the second Yakuza game to be released on the PS3, quite some fans of the franchise already owned a PS3. Besided, 35k is a very nice number.

I just think I took it in a different way. I saw it as humor and not being a serious comment. I could be wrong.

wii needs a price reduction?

Wii sales for Japan are not surprising.

Wii sold less consoles in Japan in 2008 than in 2007.

2008 was the year of SSBB, MK and the first full year of Wii Fit ( it released at the end of 2007).

If with those releases the Wii coudn't outperform 2007, with title much  weaker in 2009 it sure isn't going to invert the tendency and 2009 will be weaker than 2008 ( could be a lot weaker if you compare software the line-up).

And yes, Wii will go bellow 10k  weekly sales sometime this year ( most likely in September).

OMG the wii is at 12k¡¡¡¡, the world is going to end tomorrow¡¡¡¡, seriously guys jajaja. great for yakuza 3. and star ocean 4 stayed at the top 10 good job.
