EyePet has received an incredible 100% on metacritic. The only reviewers that gave it less than 10 were Variety and Edge. Both gave it 7/10, citing various pixels being the wrong colour, and a lack of innovation.

The other nominees were Starcraft II, God of War III, Alan Wake, and Disney Sing It: High School Musical Edition.

This is PSNBC. In other news, LittleBigPlanet has recently crossed 6 billion sales on an install base of 900 million PS3s. This is following a project by the UN forcing every single person on Earth to purchase the game, regardless of whether or not they own a PS3.

LittleBigPlanet is now the second best selling game of all time, EyePet taking first place with an astonishing 12 billion sales, two for every person on the planet. The PSP version of LBP, however, has only sold five copies, and that was to the developers' families. The $9,020,334,200 price tag put off many people.

A study has revealed that video games are no longer a cause for concern, and this has been approved by 130 governments. This study also proved that breathing when young can lead to homicidal tendencies when older. Consumption of water has also been blamed, after a 19 year old wounded three in a store. Police raided his house, and discovered large amounts of water and oxygen.

The PS3's sales are currently at 901 million (it sold a million in the last minute), the X360 at 200 million, and the Wii still at 46. 80 million. The last time anybody bought a Wii was 14th February 2008. Wii Sports Resort sold 7 copies, all of which were bought by President Satoru Iwata. Analysts blame the Wii being a "fad", and suggest that the Wii will begin to have negative sales in the future.

2010: Starcraft 2 terrans releases to uproar of angry koreans who want three campaigns. They immediately use there super fast internets to warp to blizzard headquarters and take it over by brute force. The immediatly distribute 5 billion copies of starcraft 2 to the whole world. (except china because games are against the law now, which chops off that last billion). After this the koreans begin to defeat everyone in the world. We all sink into a "depression" in which we are all actually deeply distraught by the korean starcraft skill. Then gabe newell comes out with his army of steam powered robots a digitally distributes first person shooters onto all the korean computers and deletes starcraft 2. The koreans, having no reason to live any longer. play the shooter and all loose immediately and 5 days of suffering are finally over. Gabe is declared king of all foods and never has to develope for a console again.

sony has today officially gone into bankruptcy due to the companies ceo committing suicide last night.

the sales for wii fit are higher than the wii itself. 500 million compared to 300 million for wii hardware. analysts have been reported with quotes akin to "i blame wii fit*.

duke nukem forever has been announced with a 2012 release date, and it will be the first video game in the world to require the mark of the beast to purchase.

2012: Square-Enix announces FFXIII delayed again.

This just in...GameCentral has been closed down by the United States Government for containing illegal amounts of water and oxygen. The CEO faces up to seventeen years in jail and a $7,877,998,000,334,556 fine.

Nintendo - Riding off their success from the Nintendo Wii, Nintendo's profits have allowed them to develop their newest product. Wii+ shows how their Wii product was simply the prototype in what looks like will be a long period of upcoming innovation. Head-tracking ear-pieces allow the player to literally look inside their TV's. Allowing any regular TV to be transformed into a virtual realistic world. Many members of the medical community are worried that with realistic HD graphics and Near-Virtual Reality gaming experiences. This console should not be used by the elderly, anyone with a heart condition, pregnant women, and children under the age of 10. Nintendo remains confident that they're 180 million userbase will be more than happy to accept a 329.99 price tag for the Wii+. DVD and Blu-ray functionality still remain distant to this day.

There has still been no word on the Zelda: Wii game.
