And if BioShock 1 and 2 are on PS3, BioShock 3 should be, too.

The thing is, since games are easy to delete if they are found to be non-existant, there's no problem if the game turns out to be on different platforms, or not released at all. For example, I asked oliist once if I could create entries for the Beatles game for PS2/PS3/Wii/360 and he gave me a thumbs up, even though nor platforms nor final name were confirmed. If the name ends up being different, or some platforms don't see a release, the game will just be deleted/edited.

In the end, the DB does not hold the ultimate truth, the games are there to be edited when new info comes in

Actually, it wouldn't surprise me if Bioshock 3 hit the next gen of consoles.

so long as we know the game is coming I have no problem with this. If someone were to try and add a new smash bros, I would delete it. However, since we know a Beatles game is coming, and those are the likely platforms, then that is fine.

So long as we have some proof that the game will be released, I am fine with it being added, but Kid Icarus or Mario Galaxy 2 shouldn't be added until we have some proof.

Currently many new IPs are "planned" as a trilogy (which doesn't mean that those couldn't get a 4th game)

Bioshock, Assassin's Creed, Gears of War, Too Human (lol) etc.
