They aren't about the gaming vibe. If they were, they wouldn't be hoping Blu-Ray will get their sales to Wii level, they would actually do something innovative and crank out good games instead of relying on second and third parties. If they were about the gaming vibe, there wouldn't be a $600 with Blu-Ray in it.

I owned a Coleco vision and Vectrex in the early 80s. I know what a single game like Doom can do for a platform (mass expensive PC upgrades)

It doesn't matter how much it will cost in 5 years if it cannot make it that far. Plus, a single game doesn't do squat anymore like it did back then. Everything was new and exciting with regards to games back then. Everything is old and overdone today.

I made a harmless statement about Hus doing this yet again.

This is where you have missed how a good troll operates.  

For example, if someone attacks your religion are you not offended?

The point is Hus routinely attacks other's opinions and he full well knows that it is going to anger people.  So by coming into this thread after an entire page of people have posted and most seem to agree with the article and then he flames the article, it is not so different from just flaming the people to begin with.  

There are tons of disagreements on this site where people get along just fine because they explain their views without insults.  Trolls love to come in and use vulgar language and be complete rude and disrespectful to people and then act clueless when people respond negatively to them.  Its sort of like telling a convention of WoW players that they are a bunch of losers and they will never get laid...and then going outside to bitch that someone slashed your tires.  If you insult people, what they think, and/or what they do you are going to get negative responces.

He knows he could make a civil case but that wouldn't have the same effect for him so he chooses to post like this.  Which is precisely why he is easily the biggest waste of bandwidth on this site.

Hus has been trolling forever Killzone, he is the troll. He posted BS about the writer's knowledge.

He has no idea that's true. You took Hus's side because you disagree with the article which is non-biased, called us trolls, and defend Hus because he agrees with you.

Do not insult people, no matter how much you disagree with their opinion. They have a right to that opinion, and if you insult people you will be banned.

@ All who think the Wii doesn't compete with the PS3

Isn't that an odd thing to say on a hardcore gaming website that's 75% Wii owners? Were you people not here back when the topic "How many of you Wii owners owned Gamecubes last generation" was made? If you weren't, I'll summarize it for you: More than half of the Wii owners on this site reported that they did not own Gamecubes. Many (such as DonWii) owned PS2s. Many more, such as myself, owned a Gamecube and a PS2, but have little interest in the PS3. The Wii is absolutely competing in the core market that the PS3 is striving for, and it is absolutely destroying the PS3 in that market. Software sales of core games show that quite clearly.
